Assignment One Continued

The character is one who-like I have said before-knows what she's talking about. She has done her research. She is also one who takes different turns to make her audience stay interested in her writing.

The reason this character was picked, was because she is one who can keep her audience awake. She also exceeds in adventure. Like when she and one of her friends, traveled the route that Booth took when he fled the theater Abraham Lincoln was shot in.

The details that the author is focusing on is to keep her book moving. For example, the Lincoln assassination.
With her stories, background information, opinions, and jokes I thought that the whole book was going to be based on that killing only. That's how good she kept moving. So i was surprised when chapter two was about another president assassination: James A. Garfield.

The different pieces of writing are the authors opinions, her facts, the different flashbacks, the jests, and the adventurous roads she followed. Each piece had its day to shine, and anyway it shined, meant that the author had done her job, in that form of persuasion and of keeping her audience.
